The Ferrari Club of South Africa will once again have their annual charity Ferrari Day at Aldo Scribante Raceway where they offer the public two hot laps around the 2.48 kilometre circuit in a wide variety of the iconic Italian cars on Saturday. This year they will have no less than forty cars available, ranging from classic cars from yesteryear to brand new state-of-the-art models.

The price of a chance to go twice around the circuit as a passenger in a Ferrari is R300 per person and is strictly done on a first come first serve basis with no pre-bookings available. Following the success of last year’s event where they had 80 rides on offer, the club has decided to bring in extra cars as well as increase the number of rides to 100 this year with proceeds from the hot-laps being donated to the Ferrari Club’s charity of choice.

Entrance to Scribante is free of charge and spectators are urged to get there early to avoid disappointment should you wish to go around the track. It is a rare opportunity to get to see so many Ferrari’s as well as meet the owners in one place at the same time.

The first of the hot-lap rides will start at 10h00 and there will also be food trucks and bar facilities available on site.
