In the 1660 class that always delivers huge amounts of action, the “battle of the Jason’s” is set to continue as Jason Drake takes on Jason Brink along with Drake’s sister Charne Schuin. Ensuring that the event is a family affair Drake and Schuin’s father Edwin will be taking part in the 1600 Stock class as well as Edwin’s grandson Justin Fourie racing in the Rookie Class.

Having made a return to racing this season in the Heavy Metal Class is Andries Olwagen who has proven to be very consistent racking up a host of podium finishes at Victory Raceway, PEOTR as well as in East London recently. Olwagen will have his hands full trying to match the speed of JP Coetzee who has dominated the class thus far this season in his very quick BMW.

In the modified V8 American saloon class, club chairman Wayne Holland should be a force to be reckoned with as he gets to grips with his recently rebuilt car, but will be pushed by the likes of Juan Roesstorff who is having a fantastic season in his Lightning McQueen replica car as well as Dawid Joubert and Keith Fourie.

Gates open to spectators at 12:30pm and there is free trackside parking available. There will be a wide variety of food stalls available for those not wanting to bring a braai-fire along. Racing is scheduled to start at 6pm and tickets are R60 for adults, R40 for pensioners and R30 for children u/12 years old.
