The PE Oval Track Raceway (PEOTR) on the outskirts of Gqbergha are hosting the first round of their 2025 season tomorrow evening at their circuit that is situated along Mission Road in Greenbushes. As entries continue to stream in, it certainly looks like it will be another action packed evening of racing entertainment for the whole family with racing scheduled to begin at 6pm. The classes that will be in action are Junior Hot Rods, 1600 Stock Saloons, 1660 Modified Saloons, 2.1 Modified Saloons, Hot Rods, Classic 6’s, Heavy Metals and V8 American Saloons. Young Reghardt Joubert will be hoping to continue his fine form after a brilliant performance last weekend at Victory Raceway in Walmer, saw him winning both the 1600 Saloon and Hot Rod classes and the Driver-of-the-Day award. He will no doubt have his work cut out as well-known rally driver Deon Kretzmann will be back, competing in both classes and the crowd pulling Piet Scheepers returns to the Hot Rod class.
